The show kicks off with us being joined by our friend Ryan “Wood” Underwood to cover the huge news of the week, the Nintendo Switch! We cover all the news including the $299 March 3rd release, system information, game announcements, as well as adding our own impressions as well. Lots of potential with the Switch for sure!
We also cover the other huge news of the week with the cancellation of Scalebound on the Xbox One as well as Shovel Knight and Binding of Isaac news, Injustice 2 getting a release date, and TEN new games being added to the Xbox One Backwards Compatibility lineup including Mega Man, Dragon Age, and Battlefield! Plus Featured Games!
Spheroids from Eclipse Games mixes Pang and platforming to fantastic results. Dead Effect 2 is an awesome sci-fi shooter now on console from BadFly Interactive. Friday Night Bullet Arena is a local multiplayer single bullet vs. shooter from Red Nexus Games. Hunter’s Legacy from Lienzo is a hand drawn Metroidvania platformer with cats…a Catroidvania. Cole Martin joins us to cover Nevermind, a twisted look into the minds of trauma patients from Flying Mollusk, as well as Sylvio a psychological horror game of listening to the voices of the dead from Stroboskop.
All that and we STILL have an interview as Enrique Corts of Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team joins us to talk about their new game Rise & Shine, a gorgeous 2D shooter out now on Xbox One and Steam with Adult Swim Games. We chat about developing the game, the art design as well as their previous games with similarly awesome artwork, the game parodies in Rise & Shine, and so much more!
