There’s a whole bunch of reviews to tackle coming up on this episode of SML!

The show kicks off with the PartyCast crew hanging out as Cole, Pernell Vaughan, Chris Taylor, and I all chat about the fact that we aren’t covering Ori and the Will of the Wisps on this episode of the show. Cole is eager to talk about it. That’s next episode. Until then, we have plenty more reviews to take care of, so let’s go!

Pernell checks out La-Mulana Hidden Treasures Edition bringing both classic temple explorers to ALL modern consoles from Nigoro & NIS America. Chris talks about Wunderling, chasing down the Hero across beautiful scrolling levels from Retroid Interactive. Pernell reviews Amoeba Battle – Microscopic RTS Action, a new breed of RTS from Grab Games.

Chris finds a candy golem and they fast become friends in Syrup and the Ultimate Sweet from NomnomNami & Ratalaika Games. Pernell talks about the blending in party game Hidden in Plain Sight from Adam Spragg Games. Chris reviews Skull Rogue, a rogue-like RPG inspired by the classics from Gnelf & Drageus Games.

After the partycast, Tim Ekkebus joins to chat about Mario & LEGO before checking out Langrisser I & II, collecting two classic strategy RPGs in one package from extreme, Chara-ani Corporation, and NIS America. Unlock the King is a chess inspired puzzle game from Minimol Games & QUByte Interactive. Finally, Arcade Fuzz is a two in one retro aracde package from QUByte Interactive.

We end the show with a track from LONELYROLLINGSTARS to celebrate their recent VGMCon appearance!
