We’ve got some news, some reviews with friends, and Solomon Temowo of Busy Toaster joining the show!
The show kicks off with Solomon joining us to chat about the brand new Busy Toaster release Georifters, a block shifting puzzle platformer out now on Xbox One! We chat about the mechanics of the games and the various characters you can unlock, some secret tips for the game, how the virus impacted development, what we’ve all been playing, and tons more!
After Solomon heads out, it’s the news of the week as we discuss the latest Xbox Games With Gold and PlayStation Plus lineups, No Man’s Sky hitting Game Pass next month, a Samurai Shodown collection, Pyramidhead coming to Dead by Daylight, and a Final Fantasy release date that makes Cole sad because it reminded her that Crystal Chronicles won’t be on Xbox One. COME ON, SQUARE! Plus reviews!
Minecraft Dungeons takes the cubical world you know and love and throws it into a dungeon crawling action adventure all thanks to Mojang Studios, Double Eleven, and Xbox Game Studios, who provided us this game for review. Minecraft Dungeons is available now on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Windows 10 and is also available on Xbox Game Pass!
Atomicrops is an action packed roguelite twin stick farming simulator from Bird Bath Games & Raw Fury. The Last Scape is a stunningly gorgeous and relaxing journey across the skies from Pablo Vidaurre Sanz. We also take an early preview look at the Drake Hollow Beta, a cooperative action survival village builder from The Molasses Flood.
Surlyna joins us (in person!) to check out Aqua Lungers from WarpedCore Studio, because when treasure is at stake, there are no heroes. Jacob Garner joins to review Many Faces, a multidirectional platform shooter from WANZUNGDEV & eastasiasoft. Finally, DarkMika is here to review Sludge Life, a first person, open world, vandalism-centric stroll from Terri Vellmann, Doseone, and Devolver Digital.
We end the show with a song from the Video Game Jazz Orchestra off of their Hang On to Your Hat album!
