We’ve got ourselves two of the team members behind the transformation of Super Animal Royale to Super Animal World, so let’s find out what’s going down!
The show kicks off with Bri Galgano, Jacob Garner, Aki, and Lloyd Berry all on hand to welcome Pixile Studios co-founder Michael Silverwood, as well as Ruben Grijalva, story and lore master of Super Animal Royale, to the show to chat all about Super Animal Royale and the recent life sim addition of Super Animal World! We talk about shifting from a battle royale to adding RPG elements, bug catching, fishing, and hamsterball racing to the game world with hundreds of quests & NPCs. It’s a pretty game altering update to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the release and it was great having the Pixile team here to chat!
After a quick break, we handle a very small amount of news bits for the week including UBISOFT’s acquisition of an Amazon MOBA, Dispatch hitting Nintendo platforms, and a few other things before going into discussing Bri, Jacob, and Lloyd’s gaming highlights for the year. We retread a few games we talked about on the last episode, but there’s plenty of new games mentioned that were great highlights of the year, and Jacob somehow doesn’t go on for 40 minutes about Disney Dreamlight!
