Benjamin “Benni” Hill of Advect Productions joins the show to chat about his game Q.U.B.E. 2!

The show kicks off with Benni joining Cole and I to chat about Q.U.B.E. 2. We chat about the design elements of the game, the unique panels and abilities provided to complete the game’s puzzles, and we provide our own uniquely horrible suggestions for future updates or releases because that’s what we do! We also chat about convention appearances, screwing around in game instead of playing, other games Benni worked on, and tons more. I did not, however, bring up how annoying it is to type out Q.U.B.E. every time you want to say Q.U.B.E..

After a quick break it’s review time with Pernell Vaughan starting things off covering Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut, a campy slide puzzle murderfest from Blue Wizard Digital, Stage Clear Studios, & Digerati. DarkMika writes in a review of Azure Saga: Pathfinder, an isometric RPG with JRPG battles from MassHive Media. Pernell also covers SEUM: Speedrunners From Hell, the ridiculously over the top first person speedrunner from Pine Studio & Headup Games.

Jacob Garner joins to review ChronoBlade, a side scrolling RPG brawler on mobile from nWay as well as mentioning more Gamevice use. Jacob also covers Hyper Void, a trippy on-rails shooter from IN|Framez Technology. Ian Griffin joins to check out Crest – an indirect god sim, which is exactly what the title says, from Eat Create Sleep.

Chris Taylor joins to check out a trio of Switch games starting with The Long Reach, a dark thriller adventure game from Painted Black Games & Merge Games. Toki Tori brings the platform puzzler to the Swtich in it’s ultimate version from Two Tribes. Finally, Swim Out is a unique turn based strategic puzzler about just getting out of a crowded pool from Lozange Lab.
