It’s Summerslam Season and Tim Ekkebus joins the show for some WRASSLECAST action!
The show kicks off with Tim and I going over the entire cards for NXT TakeOver Toronto and WWE Summerslam. The championship matches, the superstars who aren’t on the card, the lack of any tag team action on Summerslam, and our full predictions for both cards! Tim also gives his review of the Switch release of rhythm beat ’em up TERRORHYTHM from EvilCoGames & Forever Entertainment.
After Tim heads out, Cole tags in to tackle the news of the week including Xbox Game Pass arrivals and departures, release dates for Ghostbusters Remastered and two big indies in Trine and Indivisible, Rocket League removing crates and loot box discussion, and the other side of the Ooblet’s EGS saga showing the devs in a better light! All that plus more reviews!
DarkMika joins us to review The Blackout Club, a first person co-op horror stealth game from Question. DarkMika previews Eternal Edge+, an action adventure RPG from Righteous Weasel Games & Sedoc LLC. DarkMika also reviews A Sceptic’s Guide to Magic, discovering a hidden realm of witchcraft, gods, and demons from Pilgrim Adventures & GrabTheGames.
Over to Cole for the rest with Electronic Super Joy 2, a brutally hard platformer set in a world of brain smashing electronic music from Michael Todd Games and 2&30 Software. Asdivine Menace is the latest retro RPG from Exe-Create & KEMCO where a visitor from another world proclaims the entire universe is about to be destroyed.
Must Dash Amigos is a top down battle racer filled with piƱata stampedes and avocados from miniBeast Game Studios. Damsel is a challenging, vampire packed, fast-paced action platformer from Screwtape Studios. Finally, Sagebrush is a first person narrative-driven adventure game inspired by real world cults from Redact Games & Ratalaika Games.
The show ends with the epic Secret of Mana track “Sword From Stone” by Viking Guitar Live!
