I’m sick while doing this writeup so don’t expect any fancy descrpitions or jokes this time. Kill me. Plz.
The show kicks off with Pernell, Chris, and Cole all being around as we talk about stuff I can’t remember because my head wants to explode. God I hate life right now. Listen, the first paragraph of these is usually just jokes anyways, so I’m using it to bitch about being sick. Deal with it. <3
Pernell reviews Romancing SaGa 3 (which was provided to us by Square Enix for the purpose of this review) an oddball style JRPG that does what it wants and you’ll like it from Square Enix (who gave us the code). Chris reviews Black Future ’88 a synth-punk roguelike 2D action shooter from SuperScarySnakes and Good Shepherd Entertainment (Gambitious). Then Chris talked about Baobabs Mausoleum Episode 3: Un Pato en Muetroburgo and I can’t tell you a thing about it because the series broke my brain. Thanks Celery Emblem & Zerouno Games.
Pernell checks out Woodle Tree 2: Deluxe+ an open action platformer where you play as an adorable log from Chubby Pixel. Chris checks out Bloo Kid 2 which sees the homage packed retro 2D platformer make the jump to Switch from winterworks & Headup Games. Finally, Jacob Garner joins in to talk about Tokyo Warfare Turbo, the ultimate tank action arcade battlefield shooter from Pablo Vidaurre Sanz.
We end the song with a baller DOOM II remix from the one and only Mazedude!
