It’s the final show of the year and we’ve got a huge batch of reviews, so let’s end 2019 in style!
The show kicks off with the news of the week which is basically the news we missed last week which is really just the January lineup for Xbox Games with Gold. There’s also a news bit on Tarsier Studios being purchased, but aside from that, it’s just some post-Christmas chatter before we head into the final batch of reviews for 2019 including the Digerati Christmas Gamesplosion!
Natsuki Chronicles is a dramatic side scrolling shmup blasting onto Xbox One from Qute Corporation. Debris is a first person narrative adventure set in a surreal seascape from Moonray Studios. Then we kick off the Digerati Seven with XenoRaptor a frantic and frenzied twin stick shooter with a mechanical space dragon from Peter Cleary, Stage Clear Studios, and Digerati.
Straimium Immortaly is a bizarre and vibrant roguelite/snmup/dungeon crawler hybrid from Anthony Case, Stage Clear Studios, and Digerati. Tamashii is a unique and insane puzzle platformer set in a distorted world of horror from Vikintor, Stage Clear Studios, and Digerati. Demon Pit is a demon blasting wave based FPS from Psychic Software, DoomCube, Stage Clear Studios, and Digerati.
We keep the Demon theme going with Demons With Shotguns, the ultimate couch fragger gibfest from MindShaft Games, Stage Clear Studios, and Digerati. Odallus: The Dark Call is an exploration/action game inspired by 8bit classics from JoyMasher, Clickteam, and Digerati. Finally, we end the year with Oniken, an 8-bit retro action platformer in the vein of Ninja Gaiden from JoyMasher, Clickteam, and Digerati.
We end the year with two songs from SML favorite Stemage!
