It’s a whole bunch of reviews as we take it to the Streets (of Rage) on this episode of SML!
The show kicks off with a PartyCast crew of Tim Ekkebus, Chris Taylor, and Pernell Vaughan all chatting for a bit about the lack of Cole. Then Tim reviews Streets of Rage 4, the legendary beat’em up series returns thanks to Dotemu, Lizardcube, and Guard Crush Games. Pernell checks out Book of Demons, a hack and slash deck-building hybrid from Thing Trunk, SONKA, and 505 Games.
Chris reviews Miden Tower, the latest retro RPG to take back a tower and get revenge from EXE-CREATE & KEMCO. Pernell talks Slayin 2, facing endless hordes of mosnters thanks to Pixel Licker & FDG Entertainment. Chris reviews SEGA AGES G-LOC Air Battle taking to the skies in this classic from M2 & SEGA.
Finally, Jacob Garner joins the show for a review, but before that, he brought along his son Sam to give a second look at the miniature sized racer Super Toy Cars 2 from Eclipse Games. Then Jacob checks out the mobile port of puzzle platformer adventure Hue from Fiddlesticks Games, Curve Digital, and BadLand Publishing.
The show ends with the star studded charity single “The Real Folk Blues” organized by Mason Lieberman!
