Just a bunch of reviews this show after an interview fell apart, but there’s some great games to talk about so let’s get going!
Cole Martin joins to kick off the show as we talk about some recent news of some RPGs hitting Xbox which leads to our reviews. Secret of Mana brings the Square Enix classic to modern platforms with an HD makeover. Fe is a gorgeous game of discovery, conflict, and nature from Zoink Games & EA. Monster Energy Supercross: The Official Videogame takes you on the Monster Energy tour jumpin jumps and biking dirt from Milestone. The Station is a first person sci-fi mystery from The Station.
Royal Sefton previews Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, the action RPG sequel releasing in April from Obsidian Entertainment & Versus Evil. Royal also reviews Guilt Battle Arena, a stylish and frantic local multiplayer battler from Invincible Cat & ForwardXP. Tom Miller checks out Attack of the Earthlings, a darkly comedic tactical stealth game from Team Junkfish & Junkfish Limited.
Pernell Vaughan joins to check out World of Mixed Martial Arts 5, an in depth business simulator in the world of MMA from Grey Dog Software. DarkMika sends in her review of Tiles, a minimalist, fast paced action puzzle game from Romans I XVI Gaming & The Hidden Levels. Finally, Pernell checks out Slime-san: Sheeple’s Sequel, a fourth wall breaking standalone expansion to Slime-san from Fabraz & Headup Games, also a free update for existing Slime-san owners!
We end the show with three songs from The Tiberian Sons because I played them for a guy at GameStop and now I want to listen to them more…
